SALARY: $9.56 per hour – Part time position – 20Hrs. Per week – Partial benefits.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct supervision of the Program’s Manager performs some or all of the following duties:
• Uses a wide variety of methods to seek and identify home bound elderly, disabled and low-income to assist them in gaining access to community resources ( e.g., church, family, friends, community services, etc.)
• Maintains good relationships with assigned senior center(s) and other community organizations; assesses needs, mobilizes appropriate resources and makes referrals to such to meet short term and long term needs; follows up as needed.
• Works as a team to coordinate and implement food pantry services at satellite offices and main office.
• Assure that HEAT applications are completed for all eligible households within assigned district, by meeting with households and gathering all information to assure the applications are complete.
• Assist with Tax Abatement and renter refunds.
• Assist agency in continually assessing and addressing the overall needs of the elderly, handicapped and low-income for input in to the agency’s annual work plan; helping the agency, therefore to become aware of the gaps in resources within the community.
• Completes and submits all necessary documentation (time and mileage, etc), and completes casework into database on a regular basis. Attends all assigned meetings and training.
• Assist with food drives two times a year.
• Must be dependable, trustworthy and a self starter
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a standard High School, and one or two years experience of involvement in an area related to the above summary of duties.
FACTORS:
• Knowledge of the elderly and other low income, ability to identify needs and use effective interviewing principles, methods and techniques, knowledge of minority needs and low-income problems.
• Prefer applicant be familiar with area of assignments.
• Requires moderate contacts with social service agencies of the elderly, the low-income, senior center directors and other groups and individuals.
• Requires some work on evenings and weekends.
• Requires moderate physical effort and some lifting is required.
• Travel is necessary, therefore, reliable transportation is a must.
• Computer skills helpful,
• A one year commitment is desired.
• High standard of honesty and integrity is required.
• Must be a self starter, flexible, dependable, and be able to meet program performance measures in a required time frame.

Position Summary: Serves as assistant to coordinator for youth mentor program/Trips for Kids Utah Valley Chapter which purpose is to strengthen youth to resist negative peer pressure through mentor support and mountain bike education.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under direction of Youth Program Coordinator, performs the following tasks -
Assists in program operations – volunteer recruitment, screening and training of volunteers, screening youth applicants, performs orientations and program evaluation, complete and organize paperwork, track budget spending;
Maintains outstanding rapport with youths in the program as well as with volunteers;
Assists Coordinator in meetings with youths and volunteers on a regular basis to assess and evaluate progress, to assist and guide as needed;
Assists with weekly mountain bike workshops and scheduled rides (mostly Thursday evenings and Saturdays);
Understands the mission of Community Action Youth Program; assists in seeking creative ways to develop self-esteem, leadership and community involvement among the program’s youths, especially through mountain bike and environmental education;
Assists in compiling necessary monthly reports and statistics;
Participate in monthly and other staff meetings
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one year post secondary education and training or relevant experience
Minimum of six months experience working with troubled, disadvantaged or low-income youth;
Some mountain biking experience and basic bicycling knowledge
CPR/First aid certification preferred
Ability to work well with others
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Reliable personal transportation
Flexibility of hours to accommodate trainings, activities, outreach and special projects

Seeking a self-managing, professional and responsible LCSW, LPC or LMFT for a new family clinic opening up in the American Fork, UT area. You will provide out-patient psychotherapy to patients (individual, couples, family, groups) in a wide array of psycho-social and psychiatric needs and ages. - Helps with client data input and grant reporting
- Follow up with clients on counseling outcomes
- Assists with the setup for the Home Buyer class and other classes ( Prepares packets, handouts and classroom.)
- Assists in answering the telephone
- Refer clients to other agencies as appropriate
- Responsible that handouts, forms and other supplies are organized and replaced.
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background in mortgage lending or in real estate preferred
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work with persons from a wide variety of backgrounds
- Basic computer and typing skills
