Salary: $9.56 per hour, 20 hours per week, 10:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. partial benefits
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct supervision of Program’s Manager:
- Presents a positive image to public, volunteers and staff,
- Assesses needs and problem solves with clients regarding household situation,
- Provides counseling and budgeting sessions as a tool in determining client needs.
- Identifies and provides appropriate referrals to other resources within the community to help meet client needs on a long term basis,
- Follows up with clients to help them work towards their individual full potential of becoming self reliant by developing a working relationship with them through scheduled appointments, goal setting and phone contact as needed to assure that they follow through with referrals. Give encouragement and appreciation of effort made as they make progress toward their goals,
- Maintains accurate records pertaining to each client, completes data entry on the Tracker program.
- Works closely with supervisor and other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient operating program.
- Completes and submits all documentation (time sheets, mileage, etc.) In a timely manner.
- Attends staff and training meetings as directed.
- Presents a positive public image by assuring that all work areas are clean and clutter free.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduation and one year experience in an area related to the above duties and/or combination of education and experience substituting on a year by year basis.

- Must be dependable, motivated a self starter and able to multi-task
- Able to meet program performance measures in a required time frame.
- Flexible and able to work some evenings and weekends,
- Have a broad knowledge of community resources,
- Ability to lift 30 pounds on a frequent basis and have a reliable transportation.
